About Us

We Are Increasing Business Success With Passion

History

Kvikna was established in 2008 by four software developers with 20 years of experience designing technical software. Since then, we have grown to a team of 29 with expertise in engineering, math, physics, quality management, project management, and UI/UX design.

Base

Based in Reykjavik, Iceland, we are strategically located to assist international customers with technical product development. We currently service customers in the USA, the UK, Europe and Scandinavia. Employees of Kvikna have designed and implemented high quality, robust software products which are currently in use in over 50 countries.

Kvikna Companies

Kvikna is comprised of two companies, Kvikna Consulting ehf. and Kvikna Medical ehf. Kvikna Consulting collaborates with high-tech companies to create advanced custom solutions in various industries. Kvikna Medical is the home of our own innovative products in the field of neurology.

Alliances

Kvikna Consulting and Kvikna Medical are in a partnership with Norwegian industrial electronics supplier, Norbit.

Kvikna Medical has joined with Stratus Neuro to provide innovative solutions in EEG diagnostics. Stratus Neuro is a leading provider of neurological, cardiological, and sleep diagnostic services in the US.

Kvikna Medical provides the development expertise behind the Stratus EEG brand.

Kvikna Consulting is supported in part with a grant from the Technology Development Fund for the project "Automatic anti-roll tank for boats". The project is a collaboration between Kvikna Consulting and Trefjar in Hafnarfjörður.
